The theme for the 2nd edition of the Capacity Development Summit was “Starting and Sustaining SMEs in Nigeria”. It held on May 1st, 2014 at the EAC Hall. It had 3 speakers and the Summit program, which started by 10 am, ended by 1.45pm lasting for about 4 hours. There were between 120-150 participants at CDS 2.

The Program was anchored by Mrs May Enukei, a Public Sector banker with FCMB and Mr Seun Aderibigbe, a Business Consultant with Westville.

The Presentations at the Summit kicked off with a Presentation from the Summit Convener, Mr Idowu Ogendengbe, an Executive Director at Dunn Loren Merrifield. He presented on the topic “Wealth Creation”. The 1st Speaker of the Summit was Mr Gbenga Taiwo who presented on the topic “Business Ideas & Writing a Business Plan”.

The 2nd Speaker was Mr Tunde Lawal who presented on the topic “Marketing: Traditional & Digital”. The 3rd and final Speaker was Mr Adeolu Adelodun who presented on the topic “Business Management”.

The CDS 2 was hosted by the Men of Courage in partnership with some sponsors such as EFT Prints, Magnitude Plus, and Westville Enterprise. This partnership made it possible to host the 2nd Edition and to ensure that participants could attend the event at no cost.
